About a year or 2 ago (I've since left Geneva) I was in a bar called La Plage in Carouge and a band came in and started playing.  They were playing the following instruments:

Double bass, Guitar/banjo, drum & Trombone (I think).

The lead guy was brilliant with the crowd, telling jokes and generally messing around.  Does anyone know what the band is called?  I have a video of them somewhere that I will try to post.  It would be great to see them again.
