Your best bet for short-term part time work would be to speak with one of the placing agencies. Try www.Manpower.ch or www.kelley.ch
Bank:
If you need a bank that speaks English and has more serious services (incl eBanking, investments, etc) you should consider UBS. It takes 5 min to open an account there. If you just need a current account, and service in English is not important for you, any bank will do (the cheapest are usually Post Bank and Migros bank)
