Bank account and part time job
Hi i have been in Switzerland (Lausanne) for three weeks now from the UK and its the first time i have lived here i am doing an intenve french course for 3 hours a day mon to friday 2pm to 4pm) can anyone recommend a good way to find a part time job for beer and food money? Also can anyone recomend a good swiss bank account?  :w00t:

Hey,

Job:
Your best bet for short-term part time work would be to speak with one of the placing agencies. Try www.Manpower.ch or www.kelley.ch

Bank:
If you need a bank that speaks English and has more serious services (incl eBanking, investments, etc) you should consider UBS. It takes 5 min to open an account there. If you just need a current account, and service in English is not important for you, any bank will do (the cheapest are usually Post Bank and Migros bank)

Both these suggestions are very good thanks www.Manpower.ch or www.kelley.ch. I need a simple bank account to start here to also thanks for the post bank and migros suggestion also, great!  ;)
