Bar/Restaurant in Carouge

Hi Everyone,

I recently moved to Carouge and was wondering if anyone could recommed a nice bar/lounge/restaurant where I could throw a little get together.

Many of the people coming are (unpaid) interns so price is probably the most important factor, but of course ambiance is also taken into consideration.

I hear Carouge has a lot of nice places so hopefully one of you have heard of something.

Thanks,

2 of my favourites in Carouge are Cheval Blanc and Qu'importe. You can have drinks with a variety of tapas, so they will be definitely less expensive than a restaurant.

I recommend the same two places Federica talked about:

1. Qu'importe: A nice winebar in Carouge. The following is its website (including all the details you need). Though more expensive as normal coffee shops, but totally worth it...

http://www.quimporte.ch/wp/

2. Cheval Blanc: a bar not too far from Qu'importe. Nice one as well.

Enjoy your get together :)...
