Beijing Olympics 080808

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. Does anyone know which channel the Opening Ceremony will be broadcast on & at what time?

Also are there any pubs/bars, places around town that will be showing any of the Olympics?

I know everyone has there oppinion about whether we should support the Beijing Olympics, but I at least want to watch the Opening Ceremony.

Yeap I was asking the same things myself. Also interested in knowing this, I am pretty sure the Chinese will go crazy with the fireworks. Also, I would like to know if events are going to be broadcasted, I am particularly interested in the basketball tournament.:D

OK, so I've been told that at 2pm tomorrow that the Lady Godiva will be showing the ceremony in HD. Worth going i guess. Still not sure what channel. Let's hope someone else knows?..

i love watching the swimming..

The opening ceremonies are being aired on TSR 1, France 2, BBC 1, and BBC HD to name a few.  If you don't have access to these stations you can easily download zattoo and watch the ceremonies from your computer. www.zattoo.com on the BBC 1 channel.  Hope that helps. Enjoy :)
