Palais des bieres in rue des alpes ( shopping centre with Migros near cornavin)has a good selection of belgian beers with proper glasses.

I went last night, was in Belgian beer heaven thank you! Hadn't been there since I was about 16, didn't remember it as having that much (or maybe I was too cheap at the time?), and with the glasses!

I love belgian beers too since I'm.... a belgian :)

But I forgot to bring beers when I went on a visit to Belgium.

So I was wondering, besides the bars, are there any places where you can buy cases of belgian beers? I want to throw a party for some friends and collegues at my new appartement in Geneva.

Duvel (tripel hop), triple karmeliet, barbaar, leffe, grimbergen, chimay,...

I just noticed that Aligro is 2 minutes from my work... on foot.... dangerous ;)

I just found a new store in town 'Geneva' that has over 555 beers, and about 100 spirits. With a pretty good selection of Whisky's or Whiskey's.

I was amazed with over 12 Belgian, 40 american , 60 british beers, 10 greek, etc.

I dont work there or any commercial interest, but just the love of beer and this was an excellent discovery.

I found the website that also includes list of the stocks.

I talked to the Manager who ordered a special bottle of Irish Whiskey, got it in a few days and got a 10% discount.

Opps, they have about 70 belgian beers

and now I find that they are in every major city in swityerland. Good for all the members of glocals.
