Best Hiking near geneva

Hi all,
I have a friend coming to visit for the weekend and Im trying to plan a hiking trip. The thing is I dont know much about the surrounding area. I know there are some great places, but dont know the specifics.
Im hoping someone might have some suggestions.
Im looking for something not too far outside of Geneva. We basically just want to go for the afternoon (and see some views!) Anyone been on any great hikes?
