When I became a member of Holmes Place in January they told me that I could give one month's notice to terminate my contract when I was leaving the country. I sent them this notice letter recoerded delivery with the relevant documents they requested. Today I thought I should check that they'd received it and (surprise, surprise!) they have not got it and are refusing to accept my notice, they are also insisting that I give three months' notice to them.
Any suggestions? I have a friend that might take over the contract which would be ideal but if not then it looks as if they are going to expect me to pay 3 months' membership fees.
I would not reccommend joining this gym because of their appaling customer service... It is such a shame as the facilities are great!
