In 1914, Geneva celebrated the centenary of its entry into Switzerland by a large theatrical, staged at the lake by Emile Jaques-Dalcroze and Firmin Gémier. Saturday, May 31 from 14:30 to 17h
The historical parade and contemporary will animate the city center, starting from the Parc des Bastions to join the Port-noir. Organized as a historical retrospective, the procession consisting of more than 1200 participants will thrill the heart of Geneva at the pace of municipal bands, traditional and alternative music, rhythm sets from here and elsewhere around, including costumed groups and older vehicles.

Sunday 1st June 15h at 16:45
Naval parade will unveil within the traditional ceremony of landing at Port-noir of the Confederate troops. Unseen before, all lateen sails of Geneva (The Neptune, The Savoy, The Demoiselle, The Waldensian, L'Aurore and Liberty) will be gathered and will race for the occasion.

The program does not stop there! During three days, the public can use all their senses. The English Garden will be transformed into "Garden Plantaporrêts" provide a market of local products and local chief of Geneva will honor Swiss gastronomy by revisiting dishes of yesteryear.

For music fans, four stages will be proposed. From pop-rock song in French through hip-hop, afro-beat or the Swiss folklore, reggae and classic, there will be assured to everyone.

The story will also be honored through tales told toddlers, pageants that delight the grownups as well an interactive exhibition of images and old photographs. Finally, water games you will impress on the stage of the lake!
