Hi all...
I was just wondering what websites are good to use when booking flights from Geneva! I am trying to book something around Christmas time (I know I am a bit late). I actually am up for ideas on some destinations as well!
Thanks,
Kat

Hi Kat,
You can check GVA airport website and select Quick Link>Airlines (bottom left side of page), or go to:

Kat,
I have found www.ebookers.ch to be pretty good. Usually beats Lufthansa's website by a lot. Good luck.

Hi
You could try sites like:
But Geneva as a small airport is not well served by the small discount
airlines. Some only fly here part of the year.
So your best bet is to look up the airport's website (Google
"Geneva Contrin Airport") to see who flies in & out of here. Then
you can check their individual websites.
If you're new here, why not step into France (e.g. Chamonix is just 45
minutes by coach) for a winter holiday. If you want winter sun, the
canary islands (Spain) are a short flight away, served by Iberia and a
bunch of other airlines.
I am told Krakow in Poland is Europe's best kept secret. I've not been
but it is on my list.
Have fun

Try www.skyscanner.com, search for
From: Geneva,
To: Europe (or everywhere if you prefer...) and the dates....

Kat - try www.sidestep.com
I travel for a living and use this site quite often.

I travel using bookinghouse.ee
Good luck!!!
I use kayak.com a lot, especially for booking flights home. And I'm on the mailing lists for a bunch of airlines. Easyjet had an awesome sale last week (sorry!) and they have added so many more destinations over the past few years.
Another site is whichbudget.com. There are lots of options, especially in ski season!

I find it actually quite easy to find some good flights (although you have to look a little ahead most of the time).
Easyjet is a good place to look.
You can play the currency games as well. If you go onto Expedia.com (not .ch) and look for hotels and flights you can get currency based discounts from US$ to local. I did this a few weeks ago for hotels in Amsterdam and London.
BA are offering discounts and so can Swiss. This close to Xmas you could also try the local travel agents who may be starting to panic to shift their pre-reserved deals.
In terms of location what do you want to do (hot/cold quiet/busy)?
good luck
