Bringing US$ into CH

Hi! So I'm setting up a PostFinance account but wondering what would be the best way to transfer about ~$7500-$10,000 into Switzerland with minimal accumulation of fees, etc. I'm a Bank of America cardholder.

Direct transfer is at a rate of 1USD = 1.0862 CHF for PostFinance (don't know if there are random other fees). The BoA current rate is 0.9540 (wow, pretty big difference) which I assume is their ATM rate as well...any other options? Would just bringing the money in cash or check be better and changing it to sf when I arrive?

Thanks!
