Canada Day in Geneva
Since Canada Day is this Wednesday, I was wondering if there are any events or drinks to celebrate it?

Marz, Nir sent an email off to the Canadians in the site, but in the email he mixed up the links in that he posted your link as the funny jokes about Canada and the what is everyone doing on Canada Day link was going to the funny jokes about Canada page.

As for Canada Day, I have no specific plans as it has been a long time since I have been someone that was keen on celebrating, but if there is something going on I might come out (too bad its a work day).

If anybody is going for a drink, would participate and could pass the word around to other Canadian friends!

I say we come in force and kick out the Latinos that took up permanent residence at the park located before bout du monde for a BBQ. I have 3 Giant Canadian Flags and we should grill, drink and sing both versions of the anthem on Wednesday night.

We can also send word to our low budget consulate, so called permanent mission that can't even organise a proper Canada fest. C'mon a dozen or so consular’s in one building and no Canadian presence in the community. Shameful. We are the only country who burnt down the White House for Pete's sake, it's time we show people who we are. Proud, bilingual and the largest exporter of natural resources (including oil) to the Americans at rock bottom prices during recessionary times. Thank you Steven Harper.

Hi,

It's a shame but I realized that I won't be able to do much on Wednesday night as I need to pick up my parents from the airport.

Would anyone like to do BBQ or drinks tomorrow night as an 'early Canada Day' celebration? :-) Let me know.
