Indeed! Jered would like to make this thread resemble one of the other political ones in recent days where a lot of unhappy campers have been postin'. Beware Jered, we Canadians look like gentle peaceful folk, until you start gettin' the USA vs CAN hockey talk thrown in there!!  

But after so many years of hockey withdrawls in Geneva I'd just say that a friend of hockey is a friend of mine! And would even make it more exciting to have some Yankee supporters in the audience with us. ;-)) So come on down, eh, and let us Canucks show ya what it's all aboot!

After seeing Kathleen Edwards perform "I Make The Dough, You Get The Glory" in Stockholm a couple of years ago, I got fascinated by Marty McSorley (Gretzky's bodyguard to non-Canadians). Moving to Geneva a month ago I was very surprised to hear that Marty's brother runs a steakhouse here in town. Surely they would show the games?

Sorry Jered for Tampa Bay... but the Bruins will be in Vancouver for the first game this Wednesday at 8PM ET... unfortunately that's 2AM our time. A little late but does anyone else have holiday the next day? I do, so I'll be there...

I've asked 7arts if that's a problem... I'll let cha know the answer. Better than 5AM at least...

i'm from boston, so rooting for boston all the way. but i'd be interested in watching with you, just the same.

I'm not a huge fan of either team but I love hockey and if it comes down to game 7 I think I will be willing to stay up 'till 4 AM to watch it!

and WE WIN AGAIN!  great game last night/this morning....nice to see the nuckleheads pull another one out.  I'm another Vancouverite watching from a distance and missing being back in vancity for the run to the cup.  Perhaps when they win it, all the canucks fans should get together for a celebration!

I stayed up last night just to feel the tension from the previous beating... but it was hardly worth being now at work with red eyes and a huge desire to go hide under a lab bench or something... the Canucks were getting pummeled.

I tried to be supportive when we lost 8 1, but the second game? Come on Canucks! Poor you David for staying up and us not even win! I I haven't watched the last 2 games, so I think I have to start watching again so we can win! (I think I might be the good luck charm, so modest I know!)

The hockey gods couldn't let Lulu win tonight after his post game 5 boasting ... he rebounded nicely after games 3 and 4, though, so I have a hard time picking the game 7 winner ... the "good guys" already won in the NBA (team with less cocky punks), let's see if that can happen again here...
