Car Parking Rules in GVA

hi Guys,

I am looking for some advice on car parking in GVA.... I already found out this is a very problematic topic!

I am using a company car, and what I have been told by the Parking Foundation is that I cannot apply for Le Macaroons to park in blue zones, as the car is not owned by me... (even though I have an Attestation from the company that the car is used by me and owned by the company)...

To be honest, I cannot believe this is a true statement.... and as I am sure I am not the only one with no private parking spot and a company car, I hope i will get some advice!

Pour les habitants:

le formulaire d'inscription
une copie de la carte grise mentionnant l'adresse de domiciliation,
une copie du bail à loyer, ou une copie du permis de séjour / d'établissement (format livret) ou première page des impôts.

Si votre voiture est un véhicule de fonction, joindre une attestation confirmant l’utilisation de ce dernier à des fins privées et professionnelles.

Actually they mention that, if the car is a company car, you need to join an attestation that you use this one for private an professionnal ends.

(hope my translation is correct.)

The other possibility is that the cmpany applies on your behalf but it might be that they can only apply for a permit in the area where you work. Alternatively you get a garage space
