we are are new to Geneva and not native French speakers, but very excited to be in such a wonderful part of the world!

we have acquired a car from Germany that is heavier on the Kilowatt / horsepower side (375kw, V8). We are also looking to settle in the area longer term. Using the canton calculators for tax imposed for such vehicle, Geneva looks markedly more expensive than Vaud (~4500 vs 1200).

Based on members understanding, have I used the calculators correctly? Does this make sense?
