We've been subletting from a work colleague who's been stationed around the world for the last 2.5 years. We have some minor maintenance that we'd like her to get the regie to take care of and she's draggin her feet and saying the regie could have us slung out if they find out she's subletting the place. What are the chances of this and how can we safely go about getting some kind of recognition from the regie?

She's right about regie kicking you out, this happened to me already and to other friends. Even if you hear things like "go to asloca", "if you are more than X months subletting, it's your right to overtake it", regie will just ignore it. The only good/legal way of subletting is to ask the regie before and make a contract. Without it, no chance.
But this said, she still can ask for repairs/maintenace, of course. no one in the regie will know who is the person receiving the tech/repair guy, as she obviously can live with someone else in the apt.
Good luck! Wanessa
