Ecole du Monde is the most reasonable one I could find. It's not super cheap but cheaper in comparison compared to other school around the place.

They do free lessons in Ecole Populaire, the lessons are given by students though but i heard good things about the place :=)

I am at Université Polulaire and it is great.

CHF 150 for a whole year, 2 nights a week (1.5 hours each).

CHF 50 to register as a student, the CHF 50 per semester (for each subject).

It is not run by students, just volunteers, so some are ex university professors.

My teachers are great, I guess it is luck of the draw though as with any school.

Only problem is you may have to line up at 6am during registration week in order to get in...

I fully endorse Stephanie’s comments.  The UPG courses are excellent value and the teachers are really motivated.  As volunteers, they have to be.  I know, because I taught English there for quite a few years.

Good luck in getting enrolled.

Ecole du Monde is a nice school, the price is reasonable and they are quite flexible. Another well priced school is  www.elfi-geneve.com, behind the station, but their courses are often full. I had good experiences with both schools, though I cannot compare them with any of the more expensive schools to know if they're worth paying extra for.

UPGE is a great facility, but you do need to register well in advance. A good option for next year, if you're organised.

Thanks for the advice! I heard about that UPG and the next registration day is coming soon and of course I´m out of town at that time... So good bye for that I guess.

I also contacted Ecole du Monde and might be that it´s the place to go for me, seems pretty good. And reasonable price too! Will check out Elfi too, thanks!
