I have a phone I use to check email, on wifi it's fine but when it's connected using GPRS it's 10.- / MB! That's very expensive, I have a Lebara SIM. Does anyone know if there's a SIM with a much cheaper, or even unlimited, data plan? I have unlimited data in the US, I guess I'm spoiled.
Thanks.

Depends on who you are with in the USA, you might want to look at their International options for data. For example T-Mobile has a worldwide data program where you pay some more per month and you get your email wherever. Flat monthly fee.
Your service might have something similar.
This might be another option rather than a CH SIM (which I can't help with).

Another option:
Have a look at www.salut-mobile.ch which is the pay-as-you-go program from Aldi (German food chain). They use the Sunrise network.
They charge CHF 0.10 per 20kb of data. If I calculate things correctly, that means CHF 5.12 per MB of data. You would cut your cost in half.
Their airtime costs also seem to be the lowest in CH if you don't spend all day on the phone. Calls are calculated per second after the first 10 seconds.
The website is in French or German only.
