Chinese lessons without all the writing/reading

Hi everyone

I've been meaning to learn Mandarin for some time now (for pleasure, not business), but I don't want to deal with writing and reading. Basically I want to be able to communicate orally in Chinese.

Of course, most Mandarin courses start from the very beginning with reading/writing as well, which I think would slow the learning process (as it's already hard enough to learn the correct pronunciation, tones, etc.).

Does anyone have suggestions on a class that teaches strictly speaking Mandarin ? If not, if you have alternatives, feel free.

Thanks

Hello Alp

I know it has been long time now...I understand your concern and am glad to see you are still 'brave' enough :-)

Are you still interested in learning how to speak with Chinese native speakers?  We just settled down in Geneva, if needed let me know.

Have a nice evening.
