Classical voice lessons

Hello,

I have studied classical singing off and on for several years, and studied piano and music theory seriously until I was about 20. I would like to continue with a private voice teacher when we relocate to Geneva this fall. What I'm looking for is an experienced/old-school bel canto teacher, maybe someone retired semi-retired from a conservatory, and/or someone who would be suited and willing to teach the classical repertoire to an amateur.

Thank you!

Yvette

Why not contact the Conservatoire de Musique on place de Neuve ?

This weeked will also be a good time to inquire as it’s the Fête de la Musique in Geneva.

Best wishes,

Ritchie

Yvette,

I've been with the same voice teacher for many years. I can highly recommend her. Has studied at the conservatory.

It's also cheaper, and more flexible than through the Conservatory. (E.g. ig you're ill or on travel, she'll replace with another lasson. Few others will do the same.) She will do leaasons in English, if you desire.

Let me know if you're interested, and I'll give yo her co-ordinates. Or you can listen in on one of my lessons.

You may aleso want to check out the Conservatoir Popululaire. www.conservatoirepopulaire.ch.

There are also some members of GAOS (Geneva Amator Operatic Society) who give lessons.
