Just curious - anyone know how long the train station reno construction is supposed to last (or what it's expected to look like at the end of it?)

On another note, does anybody know, why construction and road work take so long?

To avoid this...
Here they build a 100 meters road takes 1 year
They should be finished the bit near the stops for trams 14, 16, 18 soon I think, I seem to recall reading a sign that said the TPG office is moving in there on August 23...
Preventative maintenance gone crazy, must be a bit of jobs for the boys in the road/paths side of things I think. Contracts are handed out to frequently to pals, so we get perfectly good surfaces ripped up and replaced. The other one is the poor departmental communication trick, one group come along and replace the curb and path, then the next week another group comes along and rips up the path to replace the pipes :)
