I recently purchased quite an expensive dress for my girlfriends birthday in a shop in Zurich. The dress didn't fit her and when I returned it to the shop, not only would the store manager not give me a refund, but she would not give me a credit note either, saying that the dress looked like it had been worn. When I explained that it had been worn for 30 seconds before it was returned into the box, she refused to entertain the idea that I might actually be telling the truth.
Does anyone have any advise on how I can challenge this in Switzerland?
Any suggestions appreciated. Many thanks!
