There is a place in the Eaux-Vives called «La Récréation» which gives classes.

The concept is quite nice. You have a cooking lesson for a specific type of food you decide ahead of time. I've done, sushi, lebanese, morrocan, etc.

Then, after the class, you eat what you have prepared. You can invite friends to come over just for the dinner or you can organize a group class.

The teacher/cook's name is Christian and the website is www.larecreation.ch.

I am not sure if he speaks english fluently, but it's worth a try.

Cheers,
josh

I'm giving cooking classes from home too but its all Pakistani cooking. Same concept, cook the food and eat it too. 50 Chf for the class+food. Every Tuesday at 12:00. Each week the menu is different.

Hi Camilla,

I just read this thread after searching for info on cookery lessons.

Did you go? Was it any good/were the lessons in English or French? I am interested in attending lessons, I am really bad at cooking, and would love to get better!!
