Hi all, I am planning a trip for my family of 4 members with Costa Croisiere and it is the first time. Therefore, I would love to have some tips from precursors :-)

Regarding the cruise trip, apparently, beside the amount you must pay to to reserve your place, you will need to spend an extra of 9 euro as a service charge, per head. And other services such as spa, gym, etc... are of service charge as well. 

Is there any thing I need to keep in mind before getting on this boat in order for us to not be too surprised? My parents are not too keen for surprises as they are over 60
