Counting change

Hey guys,

Since Ive been here for two years Ive managed to collect a huge amount of change. Back in the UK there used to be machines that counted this stuff for you (coinstar i think) but Ive never seen one over here.

Does anyone know if we have to get those money bags from the bank and count it ourselves or are there these machines around?

Any help would be appreciated

Go to the post office and they'll give you some paper "rolls" for your coins. I've no idea what they're called in French (or in English come to think about it.) It's a fiddly job to get them done, but take them rolled up back  to the Post Office( with your name written on each roll, they're quite fussy about this) and Hey presto! they'll give you a crisp note to take to the pub and you can start the whole process again...

I just go to a Credit Suisse branch (I have an account with them) and they have a machine where you dump it in and it prints a ticket that you take to the teller for cash or deposit.  Call your bank and check what hours you can bring change in because I couldn't use the machine at lunchtime for some reason.
