i dont know if there are specialty stores ut there..im sure there are...but i found paints and stuff at jumbo...

There are a few knitting stores. There are two in Carouge - Tricolaine - Roi-Victor-Amé, 1227 Carouge & Le Rouet Broderie - place de Marché 5, 1227, Carouge, one I know in Servette - au Dé d’Argent - 76, rue de la servette,1202 Genève and one in Plainpalais - Claudine Laine & Creations - Boulevard Carl-Vogt 63, 1205, Genève.
Manor sell some craft materials for scrapbooking and cardmaking. That's all I know off the top of my head :-)
