And please don't tell me its La Reserve as its a jaw dropping 180 swissies there...

The "Canard Intelligent" (intelligent duck) in Carouge has a nice one at an affordable price (50-60 CHF / person for a three courses duck as far as I remember), but I don't know if it's the proper recipe but it's excellent.

The best for me is Chez Leong - in Plainpalais near the Moulin Rouge cabaret. Not expensive and pretty good. Give it a try.

Just in case anyone is following in my footsteps, I'd just point out that the Hilton Hotel mentioned above is now called the Kempinski...
