Crossing border with dogs?

Does anyone know what the deal is with taking your dog across the border, cause I regularly go to France and don't want to be hassled? Does anyone know where to find info on the laws regarding this cause I can't seem to find them anywhere. Thanks

Your dog needs a passport as well. You can get the information via your vet. Your dog does need to be chipped. If not already, you will have to have this done.
