To be honest I do not how to dance Salsa !!!

I had some lessons/nights with friends dancing latin dances in the past.

I would like to join you!

but I do not know if I need to take some classes before joining these soirees!

Ok the people i met tonite were super nice, place super nice...but damn me all the way to hell and back the music is all Puertorican. I can't live without Cuban Salsa, please oh please someone tell me there's a bailarino in geneva somewhere who knows how to dance cuban....the real salsa! ;(

You're very welcome to dance with us in Geneva, but I'm sure there's plenty of Salsa also in Lausanne. I know more about the Tango in Lausanne, than Salsa,  but isn't there the Movida (Place Chaudron), K-Dance (though I think they're more Portorican) the Atlier Volant, ...

Most of the dance schools in Geneva are Cuban, e.g. Salseros-de-hoy, who organise dance holidays in Cuba every year. But at dance evenings, these places tend to get DJs who sometimes amuse themselves by playing different kinds of music.

FYI, the next two Saturdays, there are big dance evenings at the Salle Cummunale d'Onex, both organised AFAIK by Cuban schools/organisations. (On the 29th, all the money goes to procuring wheelchairs for Cuban handicapped.)

There is salsa at Parc des Bastions tonight .. starts at 8 and goes on until Midnight ...It's all Cuban + the usual does of bachata, Merengue, Kizomba .. Its a beautiful setting. More information at https://www.facebook.com/#!/events/414148535312169/

I'll be organising myself this week for all the future Geneve adventures..see car-sharing options and train/bus connections (although i do prefer car :D )

Yeah i've heard about the salsa scene in Lausanne.. and will check it out personally this week if i can to see if it can satisfy my needs hahahaha
