I have a shutter problem with a Canon EOS 10 D camera which is four years old.
Any photographers out there who can suggest causes for this or recommend a good repair shop that doesnt cost the same price as the camera .. : )

Chako Optique SA in Delémont (032 423 0300) is the official Canon service centre. If you post your camera to them they will repair it fairly quickly.
Unfortunately though, I sent a lens to be repaired, which they did OK, but several months later, the lens now has dust that has collected inside, between the glass. So I am a little unhappy with the work they did and will be returning the lens to them...
