Easier tax-free refunds when shopping in France from Switzerland

I’ve been doing quite regular shopping trips into France from the Geneva area, and the classic tax‑free process (asking for forms in each shop, queueing, and sometimes having small errors or missing steps) was always a bit of a hassle.
Recently I started using an app called Savin’ Tax Free. The way it works in my case is quite simple: I keep the regular receipts, upload them afterwards, and it generates a single electronic refund form that I validate once at the border. For regular weekend grocery trips across the border this has generally been more convenient than dealing with paper forms in each shop.
I did run into one issue once where the QR code from Savin wouldn’t scan properly on the self‑service machine at the border. In the end, the customs staff directed me to their office and scanned it with a connected reader, and it went through without problems. Apart from that, it has worked fine so far.
Just curious if others here doing regular trips from Switzerland into France have had similar experiences with app‑based tax‑free systems, or if there are better alternatives worth trying.
