I don't know about you people out there.. maybe in big cities like Geneva or Zurich it's not that difficult to find English books but there's never a great selection out there !!
Met a Malaysian/Chinese in Germany who showed me how to fina a great variety of English books on the net through the following site
http://shmyl.com/yjzoson
It's actually the Amazon site of Germany. I don't understand German so I went to he France Amazon site, it has quite the same selection of English books I must say and I definitely understand French as I do English. But what a shock when they calculated the delivery fees !
I then compared both Amazon Fr & Ge, there sure is a huge difference. Books are more or less the same, but delivery cost from Germany is almost 1/3 the cost from France.
And the good news is under "HILFE" ( help in German) , there's a "" button where you can finalized your purchase !!
I've been ordering some "used" or "second hand" books from the market place but I can assure you that the conditions are just as good as new !! Just received 5 books of Harlan Coben, as good as new delivered to my door in 5 days for € 46.-- !!
I hope this can be helpful to someone who loves to read like I do.. I sure did appreciate this tip from my friend.
If anyone need anymore info, can write to me:) would love to help !

There is also a small English book section at the FNAC store and at Payot.
All of these stores are in the downtown area.

The English Bookshop is called "Off The Shelf" and the staff is friendly and very helpful, if they don't have what you want they'll order it for you. They work with the English Department at the University of Geneva so I've often bought my books there since students can get coupons http://www.offtheshelf.ch/fr/home/index.shtml
