Your friend may want to go to Hopital de la Tour. They have a recognized sports injury clinic by Swiss Olympic. They have several doctors who speak English. Here is the list of doctors with the languages they speak.

I can personally recommend Dr. Finn Mahler.

I took the advice in this post and went to La Tour and saw Dr Kouglin and he was excellent. He diagnosed my knee problem at no one else has been able to resolve and recommended me to an excellent sports physio in Geneva : Physio Cornavin 022 731 8465 (11 rue Cornavin, right next to the train station).
