Etat de Lieu Preparation / Cleaner / Cleaning service advice please :-)

Hi There, 


I'm leaving my apartment at the end of the month and I'm looking for a a cleaning service or cleaner that is well experienced in End of Lease cleaning. 


I'm looking for a company / person that is reliable and not overly priced. 


In addition to that, I've heard horror stories of regies charging exorbant fines because of something that was overlooked before the Etat de Lieu. 


I would love some advice on Etat de Lieu prepration. What to watch out for , things I should definitely make sure are in order.

I've only done it once so I'm not exactly an expert.. But it was painless. 


I used a proffessional cleaning company called OuiDoo, based in Rolle so I don't know if they do do Geneve. Cost was around 1200 for a big place, 5 bedroom 250sq meter, they provide the 'regie satisfaction guurantee'


I also got the regie to come before the move date, a few weeks before, for a pre inspection and I fixed any of the little things that needed done, holes in walls, touched up some paint, changed a filter on the extractor etc.. So there were no surprises.. 


Do these little things before and save loads, a filter will cost you 5chf in COOP but the regie will charge you 100chf to get somebody to come out and do it.

I am in touch with a cleaning service for the end-of-lease cleaning. They have asked for payment upfront and I was wondering if this is customary? This was not the case with the moving service I hired...

Hi, no it’s not customary. Payment  usually at the end . I suggest you find a different moving company. I used Keep moving . Ueli and his team were wonderful !
