Hi,

I work in Geneva where I currently live but in a few months my wife and baby girl wil be coming out to join me, so I have to find a place to live. Due to the incredible costs of decent sized places in Geneva itself I am casting my net further afield.

One place I like the look of is Gex but I am worried that it might be a bit isolating for my wife when I go off to work, especially as she doesn't speak any French yet.

What I'd like to find out is whether or not there is any kind of ex-pat community in Gex - people in a similar position to us and, most importantly, other English speaking mothers around the place.

Being isolated means less to me as I speak French and would be going to work evry day anyway, but it's something I am concerned about for the family.

Any thoughts from anyone? Do any of you live there already and can tell me a bit about the place, or any other useful information?
