I would be happy to play with you as I have been itching to play myself. I used to be experienced, so im not sure if that counts. But its like riding a bike, no?

I am also new in Geneva and I guess my level will be 3 or 3.5, maybe... But I am interested in hiting some day if you dont find it too boring. I have been told that the tennis club of Cologny is the best option. I have not been there yet though.

Thanks Katherine! Are the courts walking distance? i am by the Claparade/Peschier stop in Champel.. not so fluent with the bus yet :). What days/times work for you? I havent played in 4 weeks so I will be a little rusty

5.5 is the highest level i believe and that is for touring pro's. 4.5 and 5.0 are usually the elite below the traveling tournament players. Do you think your level is 3.0 or 3.5 based on experience with someone who has that rating? I'll still meetup to hit with you, just wanted to give you some info on American ratings. When was the last time you played/how many years have you been playing?

Your scaring me! You havent played in four weeks... i havent played since NZ and Australia in January and that was only twice! But i can definiately hit a ball, just maybe not as well as you!

My best friend here actually lives right at the pechier stop so i know where that is but in relation to the courts hmm. Google maps is telling me about 2 km away, so definitaley walkable. This week I am super busy with french tests and a lot of work but sometime middle of next week could work?

Call Mr. Hufschmid at the Tennis Club de Geneve where there are 21 clay tennis courts in the Park des Eaux Vives and courts next to the public ones in Bout du Monde.

If you are very good, perhaps they will lure you in as a ringer for their team. If you are not so good, perhaps they will introduce you to some members for a membership application for next year.
