Eye doctor

Hi,

I have a short question about doctors in Geneve/Switzerland.

If I want to visit an eye doctor (not emergency), do I need to go first to a GP (maybe he/she can already solve it), or can I directly go to an eye doctor?

And, would you know a good eye doctor and/or GP (that preferably speaks english)?

Thanks a lot!

Laurent

Hi,

I've been to; Centre Ophtalmologique de Rive, 15 Rue Pierre-Fatio, 1204 Geneve and they were great. Just walked in with no appointment and asked if they had any English speaking doctors. They were very nice!

Good luck.

Optique Duvillard is also quite good. The propietor, Eugène, speaks English well, and he's very precise in the examination for lenses or eye glasses.  Located near Villereuse Tram  022 735 92 75
