I need a new prescription for my new glasses.
I am wondering
1.If there is a convenient place like specsaver where I can get my eyes checked but don't have to buy glasses.
2. If anybody can recommend a ophthalmologist (English-speaking).
3. roughly how much eye check costs.
Any advice/info regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Trams 12, 16, 17 TPG stop Molard or Rive
I paid 99.00 for a pair of glasses with scratch-resistant lenses, eye exam included. The glasses were ready in two days. Great service, nice selection of frames.

I went to Feldmens(?) on Rue de Croix d'Or a few months back for a replacement for prescription sunglasses. I had a new pair at 80CHF in two weeks. They're fantastic so far, and so I'd highly recommend them!
The best part of the visit for me was that I didn't need to take an eye test (I didn't have my eye vision prescription on me). They were able to judge what my eye sight was based on my regular glasses.
