Female Singer looks for BAND/MUSIC/JAM-SESSIONS

Hi, I'm Marie, 21, from Germany!

I'm an Au Pair in France, but I'm in Geneva very often. In Germany I got singing lessons for 6 years, was in some bands and every wednesday I had a jam-session in a nice pub.

Sooo... I really miss making some music and want to ask you :)

I hope you can help me were I can find the right people.

Thank you!

Marie

Hi there Marie,

I don't know if you're stil looking or not for a jam place but if you can sing the blues, www.bagblues.ch do a jam sessions. You only need chat with the guys and they will back you. Also Pickwicks do a jam session called 'Plug and Play' on the 2nd or 3rd Thursday of every month. www.mrpickwick.ch. I'm a singer too and once in a while I pop in there to do a bit of singing.

Shame the scene is a bit dead around Geneva. Let me know if you feel better going along with someone.

You can also head to the Scene in Plainpalais on Saturdays (only). They have a concert or two starting at 9pm followed ALWAYS by a jam session. Typically blues. All levels welcome. The atmosphere is great, more like a community center for musicians. 100% volunteer organized. Totally worth checking out!

Address is: Le Contretemps, 1 Rue des Savoises. (just near Moulin Rouge, basement level...)

Thanks David, for the tip. I might pop in at the Scene one of these days.

Do you play/sing?

Cheers

Hello there Marie!

I'm an intermediate guitar player, and I'm also looking for people to jam with, specifically a singer. We can meet up somewhere if you'd like, too. I'm also hosting a musicians meeting in the beginning of March:
