Currently I am staying in Foyer George William. Basically it's located in a good location, you can just walk to some supermarkets (coop, migros, denner) in 5 minutes by walking distance, and it takes around 10 minutes to the old town and Bel Air by walk. Regarding about the cleanliness, it is considered as a well maintained foyer, they clean the kitchens and showers every morning except on Sunday. However, the staffs in the receptionist are not really usefull, especially the old lady, she's arrogant and stupid as well. and Unfortunately the wifi is extremly suck, they have a limit for 5MB each day and if you exceed the limit, they will cut your internet permanently after the 2nd warning letter. So I recommend you to apply other companies such as orange, sunrise and swisscom for providing your internet.

Hi,

I stayed there for 3 month in 2007, it was a great and cheep expirience;however, it is basically a dorm, where the people see each other every day. You share a bathroom, toilet, and kitchen, so your privacy is limited. The people see when you leave and when you come back, what and when yu eat, gp to the bathroom, and take a shower, if you do not get part of the group then you are weird, so if you are looking for a student dorm and you are happy with it, that is your place.
