Friends Driving your car in Switzerland

Hi,

I thought that friends could drive your car in Switzerland and if there was an accident then the insurance would pay...

However, someone told me that you need to ask for a "special" insurance for other people to drive your car.  Does anyone know if thats correct?

My insurance guy has never mentioned it...

thanks

Simply check with your insurance if you are insured for "any approved driver"... or merely yourself.

a 2 minute phone call to your insurance agent will answer your question mate.
