Funniest movie and series

Hi all,

What would be the funniest movie you have recently seen and would recommend? And series? (in the line of Monthy Python, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Rab C Nesbitt, Black Books, etc.)

Thanks!

Fiona

Yes. TV Series, I agree, I've never found something as funny as these. I was recommended "Arrested Development", "How I met your mother", I never really "got into" these.

I love films with Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell, Owen Wilson, Adam Sandler, Steve Carrell... I saw the "The Watch" recentely, was funny.

I laughed quite a lot at the last pixar movie, "Brave".

Louie is pretty good; and which is not often the case with comedy TV shows, when it's not funny per se, it's still quite good.

Don't forget Little Britain (if you haven't seen any already) and Russell Peters for standup comedy ('Red, white and Brown' and his latest show 'The Green Card Tour'). Laughing

Nobody has mentioned THE THICK OF IT-hilarious TV series satirising the spin and behind the scenes manoevres of politicians and their minions(based originally on the Blair set-up),the lying, the desperate attempts to hide mistakes, the fake bravado, the back-stabbing etc

Brilliant, high speed dialogue with the best swearing I've ever heard on TV(inventive,crease-you-up laughing .....though I know some find it TOO much!)
