I know this question has been asked a million times over but I'm looking for a recommendation of an English speaking doctor in Eaux-Vives / centre of town (left bank). I've seen the searchable list of doctors online but I'd rather go somewhere that's been recommended than pick one at random. I just want a prescription for the pill - I guess I just need a regular GP for that?

I've had Dr Guilbert at Place des Eaux-Vives for the last 2 years. His English is excellent and he's very pleasant to talk to. I only visited him 3-4 times in this period though, and your ideas of a good GP might be different.
GPs in Switzerland are gatekeepers in a way and they are your first point of contact before you start seeing specialists. I'm sure he/she's the person to get a prescription for the pill.
