GVA-UK: channel or ferry?

Hi all,

want to drive to London from Geneva on Monday and am wondering how the channel compares to the ferry, price wise convenience etc.  Never done it before so would appreciate any advice.

many thanks

well the chunnel may be great price wise, although I always take the ferry as I don't like to sit in my car, in a train, in a tunnel, much prefer to walk around a ferry, go on the deck and feel the sea breeze on my face!
