Okay, so a lot of what I've been reading indicates Geneva is a pretty lame city with nothing to do. If this is true, is it possible for singers, musicians, models and male dancers to make it there? I saw there are a few gentlemen clubs in Geneva for female exotic dancers but not really much for male performers.

I'm a master's student and wanna have a little fun while I'm there. When I went to visit, I really liked it and seemed way more interesting than Ticino.

I understand CH is no NYC or L.A, but I refuse to believe there isn't an area tailored for those in the entertainment industry. If Geneva really is that boring, I'm concerned I might be making a mistake by choosing to my studies there.

Thanks for your honesty. I haven't moved officially but got to visit and liked the diversity. I've read there is an emerging underground music scene, so I was excited about that. From the looks of things, I might have to give Geneva a chance, even it mean no market for male exotic dancers

yeah well i am a fashion model and not even its a fashionable city, its just my opinion maybe others think differently with other experiences

It's difficult to have information in Geneva. This is the problem. To start visit the agenda of this site on google : darksite la decadanse Genève.

For official events looking for the official events site of ville de Genève.

Then add on facebook all the places art, music, bar, associations etc. etc. and enjoy.

Ah, it's better that you improve your french (it's a french region, finally, but some events are in english...), or if you speak french no problem.ciao ciao
