Geneva Arts Festival lasts til 26th August (Shaggy, Kool n the Gang, etc.)

It is very disapointing that the Geneva Arts Festival is not very well known about from people I meet at the lakeside. I asked a few people and Found most people just said, you mean 'Fete du Geneve'. I just said, not it is a Arts festival after the Fete du Geneve, and it is at the old 'Cinelac' Geneve. So I went there today too see a Japanese Taiko show, it was like really disapointing, no one there and just one guy showing kids how to bang on the drums.

The good thing I find was the food / restaurant service was very good but at night they highly recommend you reserve.

Check out there website and program that lasts til 26th August.

Also I find that half of there events are free and the other events are like 2 tickets for price of one. But I think from what I seen, that you can enjoy the lakeside restaurant there and not have to enter into the concert :) , saving you some money. And even sitting next to the Scene outside, you will get all the atmosphere, eat n drink your own stuff, saving yourselve a few quid, if your on a budget. Well hope you go and see it and enjoy.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SHAGGY SHOW.We were 8 in our group at the Shaggy concert last night. I phoned to ask what time he'd be on, was told 20h, no support act. Got there for 20h. DJ till 21h when Shaggy finally came on for ... 45 mins? Shambolic wandering around the stage, singing maybe 2 of his songs the rest other people's, then just walked off and didn't return. Lots of boos, bottles thrown, not even an announcement made - nobody knew what was going on.

Totally unprofessional from Geneva Arts who should have said what was happening but particularly from 'Shaggy the star'. Utter waste of money.

I guess my suggestion of listening outside the 'Geneva Arts Festival' scene for free was a good idea :)

Arts festivals makes lots of creative things, which shows culture of the city. These type of arts festival also gives a chance to everyone to show their skills and also display their imagination through painting.
