I need some advice and a help with finding a solution.

My girlfriend is French. She drives a small French registered car. I live in central Geneva and she visits often during the week and will park in the Blue zone overnight. However, during the day, she has to constantly go to the car and keep updating her disc every hour. In the last two weeks, she has had 140 CHF of fines, which is tremendous waste of money. The whole parking situation is becoming massively stressful for her. I have a macaron which allows me to park in my allocated zone indefinitely without the need to keep updating the blue parking disc. 

Anyone got any ideas? This must be a very common problem in the city.
