Geneva Cheap Eats

I am moving to Geneva soon, and was wondering if there are really any cheap (yet hygenic) restaurants/diners/eateries around Geneva for people with limited budgets. Vegetarian recommendations would be great. I assume cheap would be anything around 10-15 CHF or less for a decent meal.

A list here will probably be useful for everyone. Please make sure to mark street locations too for anyone needing directions.

Thank you!

Feuille de Banane, 29 Rue du Carouge

A cheap, tasty, asian/chinese restaurant with daily specials for 11CHF with a drink

Plat du jour at Bain de Paquis: CHF 12 for a decent meal. You have to pay CHF2 to get into the Bain de Paquis, but I have the season ticket (CHF50) for the entire summer, so I eat there quite often. Good place to enjoy the sunshine, swimm and have a drink.

Chez ma cousine - they offer good chicken dishes for around CHF15. There's one near Manor and one in Old Town.

Mikado has sushi for about 15Fr per meal (depending on how much you eat). One in Rue de Caroug and one near Terrassiere.

IKEA near Meyrin has very cheap meals

You also might want to check the restaurants in Coop and Manor.

Saigon at Place Reverdin: Vietnamese take-away (open lunchtime only). 10CHF for a meal (generous portions). Same owners since ever, and hugely popular for people working in the area!

On Rue de Carouge you can find several cheap places for lunch: asian, portuguese, turkish...

A little bit more expensive, but if you're near rive mango deck is a good option for lunch with many vegetarian offers. think it would cost 13-16 chf for most meals.

In that season, bain des paquis is nice, and they usually have good salads too.

Some big coops or migros have cafeterias, I don't really like them but you can get some variety for a low price. The one at manor is better, but maybe a few francs more expensive.
