Last week I picked up "The 2012 Expat Directory For Geneva", a great little guide edited by Anglofiles. If you have not gotten one yet, find a copy soon! It is full of very useful information -- 7,000 addresses for professional services in & around Geneva, plus general info about the area and special thematic files re: schools, wellness, night & leisure, restaurants, etc.

The directory is a small, 175-page yellow & black booklet. I got mine at the AIWC clubroom and another copy at the Chamber of Commerce (close to the Grand Théâtre). Surely you can find it elsewhere in the city. If not, it is also accessible online: GVA Expat Directory

There is another business directory that you may find useful, whether you are new here or not: the one created by AngloInfo (online version) and listing over 9,800 English-speaking businesses & services in the GVA area. In addition, their 250+ information pages cover a wide range of topics/issues and they have plenty of local events and classifieds listed on the site, too.
