Hi guys, i applied to for residency back home in july and i still did not get it . They said it takes 8-12 weeks, is there a contact person or an email that i could call/ write to , to speed the process . please let me know ASAP. Thanks alot

Hi,
residence permits may take a while to come. It usually takes 3 to 6 months.
Most of my customers and glocals members received it after 6 months, some working in big firms do receive it quicker though.
So if you already have a confirmation from population office that your demand has been accepted and is in process, then no worry.

I applied in july and havent heard from them soo far, I am calling them and i get geth through is this normal that during calling hours they have the machine on, i wana know the status of my application and i have my application number

Don't waste your time calling them, they have lot of troubles to deal with the astronomical number of calls they get.
Just send them an email: [email protected]
