Hi all,

A few questions I couldnt find the answers to ( including a couple  i'm sure i could but were last minute additions) regarding the police and the proposed salary cuts last year: 

- How much were they being paid?
- This is for how many hours a week?
- What amount was supposedly going to be cut?
- how has crime faired over the last 5 years? (i'm sure i can find this one out but it just came to me - and non anecdotal if you please)
- Do they get any additional benefts? 
- Did it go through?

(if there is too much variation, then i suppose an average street cop.)

From what i understood, they earn a very good wage.

I'm curious as to whether they were being proposed a new unfair salary or are have they just be living the good life until now? or both?
